Jesse Miller (MA. PgDip) is a recognized authority on the topics of media literacy, social media education, and digital trends. Jesse is an international speaker who has addressed thousands of participants in primary, secondary, and post-secondary education. Since 2008, Jesse has worked in media education programs helping curate curriculum and learning resources with school districts across North America. Currently, Jesse is a sessional lecturer at the University of Victoria and a Trainer for Safer Schools Together.
Prior to the 2020 pandemic, he was also in high demand as a travelling keynote speaker and consultant within education and public safety events across Canada. Jesse has focused the majority of his most recent work towards the remote learning reality we’re all experiencing, as it is a wonderful opportunity to further how we engage media literacy in a connected (but socially-distanced) world.
