Our 2025 event will be a 2-day Training Symposium on February 13th and 14th, with both in-person and livestream options!

After 16 impactful years of the Gangs & Guns Training Symposium, we are proud to expand the scope of this event to address broader aspects of school violence prevention. In partnership, Safer Schools Together and Safe and Sound Schools will lead the international conversation on school safety, the emerging threats landscape, and proven strategies to address them.

With timely and vital information from internationally recognized speakers and experts, attendees will leave with best practices, innovative programs, tools, resources and actionable insights. Stay tuned for our presenter line-up and event details.

Cancellation Policy

If a customer wishes to cancel, all requests must be submitted by email at least 30 days prior to the Summit start date and will be subject to a $50.00 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 30 days of the event start date. However, you are invited to send a replacement provided you notify Safer Schools Together of the name substitution. Refunds will not be provided for any registrants who fail to attend the conference or a portion of the conference.

It is the sole responsibility of the delegate to cancel all travel or accommodation reservations made by the purchaser.

Location

Our Summit will be hosted at The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We will also be hosting an evening of networking for those joining us in-person. The networking event will be hosted on February 13th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Marine Room with complimentary appetizers.
